Extraordinary Families

A leading nonprofit foster family, adoption, and advocacy agency whose mission is to help children and youth in foster care to have the childhoods and futures they rightfully deserve.

Originally screened live at the organization's Los Angeles gala, the film continues to serve as a tool to educate prospective resource parents and community groups. With one of the nation's largest foster youth populations, Los Angeles County depends on organizations like Extraordinary Families to recruit and support foster and adoptive families.

Through emotionally grounded storytelling centered on children, caregivers, and lived experience, the film helps humanize the realities of foster care and build greater public understanding and support for vulnerable youth.

There are 20,000 kids in the LA Foster Care System. EVERYONE IS WELCOME.
